his work deals with the poetic as well as the emancipatory dimensions of music-making and listening, primarily through a focus on (but not limited to) pitch and harmonic structures as a way to articulate form and its ability to be perceived over time.
as a pianist, he trained at the Eastman School of Music with Barry Snyder and has performed throughout the US and Europe.
after moving to Berlin in 2016, he began his work as a composer.
since then his works have been performed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Norway, Finland, and the US.
he studied composition in Graz with Klaus Lang and Franck Bedrossian.
